Post 16 Opportunities
We have partnered with two outstanding organisations who work with our students all through Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 so our students become familiar with the opportunities available to them when they complete Year 11.
Reigate College and East Surrey College provide students with the widest possible range of courses, taught by subject specialists. This means that every student is able to find the perfect combination of subjects and support for them to succeed.
The Priory School students are guaranteed a place at either college, provided they meet the minimum entry requirements and have an excellent school report.
Reigate College
Reigate College, situated in Reigate town centre, offers around 50 A Level or equivalent courses. With excellent results, outstanding programmes for Oxbridge and MVD (Medics, Vets and Dentists), together with around 70 extra-curricular clubs and activities, including competitive sports teams, performing arts groups and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold Award, the College is a brilliant stepping-stone between school and university or apprenticeships and work.
Students at The Priory School are offered a guaranteed place at Reigate College if they meet the College’s entry requirements (of five GCSE passes at Grade 4 or above) and their school reports and reference demonstrate excellent effort, attendance and punctuality. East Surrey College
East Surrey College is a vibrant college community, offering a wide range of subjects and levels, from Entry Level through to Level 6, to students in the local area. We have a large number of vocational and apprenticeship courses for school leavers, covering subjects from Applied Science to Motor Vehicle or Construction to Media, we really do have a course to suit your aspirations.
We provide high quality teaching and learning opportunities at our modern campus in Redhill, and our highly skilled tutors come with industry experience, meaning you get up-to-date skills, relevant to the industry you want to progress into. We are also proud to be one of the leaders of apprenticeship opportunities in the South East, partnering with over 300 employers, offering courses in a wide range of subjects.
College is not all about the classroom, we have a diverse range of enrichment activities and opportunities for students to try something different, meet new people and develop themselves.
