Local business Unum, based in Westcott, has donated 18 refurbished laptops to The Priory School as part of its commitment to responsible business and community support. The donation was made following the company’s regular hardware refresh cycle, which focuses on finding meaningful ways to reuse devices that are still in excellent working condition.
Working alongside its Responsible Business Team, Unum partners with a trusted external specialist to ensure all laptops are securely wiped, installed with Windows 11 and prepared for reuse, making them easy to set up and ready for immediate use.
Seen here with Priory students receiving the laptops from representatives from Unum, Mrs Trimnell commented that the donation will make a real difference, supporting teaching and learning while improving access to reliable technology for both students and staff. The school thanks Unum for its generosity and for choosing to support a local school through the reuse of high‑quality equipment, highlighting the value of strong links between local businesses and the community.
