Student showing off home made coronation cake

Celebrating the Coronation of King Charles III at Our School

On Friday, 5th May, our school community came together to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III in style. The coronation marks the beginning of a new era for our country, and we were thrilled to be able to mark this special occasion with our students and staff.

Many students dressed up in red, white and blue to embrace the festive atmosphere. At the extended tutor time, tutor groups held coronation tea parties with delicious snacks and treats for everyone to enjoy.

Mr Taylor treated his tutor group to scrumptious homemade scones with clotted cream and jam. Mr Taylor is known for his amazing culinary skills and his scones were a hit with everyone who tried them. Tilly, a Year 7 student made a stunning coronation cake which was a true showstopper.

Our PTA and the Surrey Hills Cafe kindly treated the staff to delicious scones, which were much appreciated by all.
